A commonly used contraction of 'bioengineering', bioneering is the science of constructing or manipulating biological organisms, such as the creation of organic computers like Eingana. Therefore its proponents are bioengineers or 'bioneers'. Organic circuitry seems to be big business in modern-day Stark. There is even a magazine called Bioneering Monthly, which is presumably a scientific journal.
Both Helena Chang and Gabriel Castillo work in the bioneering industry; Zoë Castillo began a degree in bioneering but never finished it. Rio Kuroki worked with the biological components in the DreamCore, so she would also have a bioneering qualification.
