A small marketplace around the South Gate in Marcuria. While not as crowded as the market in the Magic Ghetto, it has several stallholders and does good business catering to the human citizens of Marcuria and the local Azadi troops. The South Gate Marketplace is home to Minstrum Magda's soup kitchen for the homeless, as well as the Spice Merchant's stall and a fishmongers'. (Ironically for someone who will happily eat sashimi, Zoë Castillo seems to find the fish on sale a disgusting sight.) One of Marcuria's famous blue flames burns near the South Gate itself, and a harnessed Elgwan powers a nearby well.
