A Souk - an Arab or Berber marketplace or bazaar - features in Dreamfall's Casablanca. A coffee shop, a sushi bar, a fountain - at which Zoë sat with her friends when she was in high school - and stalls which apparently offer organic vegetables are to be found in the souk. On arriving at the souk for the first time in Dreamfall, Zoë is accosted by Aaralyn who is also on her way to the gym. Later, Reza arranges to meet Zoë on the seat next to Moca Loco to ask if she can collect the package from JIVA and deliver it to him in his nearby appartment.
