One of the Six, the female Empresses of the Azadi. Like her fellow Empresses, Yona appears quite young, and is dressed in a simple grey smock. Yona describes the Scorpion to Kian Alvane as a "daemon" whose hands are stained with trueborn blood; she seems to find this distressing to speak of. However, once Kian has left the room she asks the others if they can trust him, pondering the fact that the future of their empire now rests with him.
